The study gives information about the suitability and effectiveness of computer-aided instruction for employees in this branch specific company.
To the answer of the question whether instructions show generally an effect the groups of both instruction forms (personally and electronically) were confronted with the group without instruction. The results show that the instructed or not instructed employees do not differ concerning the settings to the industrial safety and the perceived action competence in emergency situations. Same could be also ascertained for the comparison between electronic and personal instruction. The satisfaction by the instruction forms of sides of the employees does not differ. However, instructed and not instructed employees indicate tendential differences in the results to the enterprise-internal industrial safety knowledge. While the not instructed group shows a reduction of on an average 2.7 points at the second time, the instructed groups improve on average about 2.5 points In the comparison personal with the electronic instruction the employees who were instructed electronically reach on average 1.1 points and the employees with personal instruction on average 4.4 points more at the second time. On account of the low random check the differences can be secured between the instructed ones and the not instructed groups as well as the light advantage personal compared with the electronic instruction, nevertheless, not as statistically significant.
