Scientific Media

Communicating and providing information is becoming increasingly important. Information on project results from all fields covered by the institute are publicised in classic media such as scientific and technical journals, loose-leaf collections, reports and brochures. At the same time, information is also prepared for publication and general distribution in Internet and databases.

At present, the editorial staff is in charge of:

• The scientific technical journal Gefahrstoffe - Reinhaltung der Luft - Air Quality Control
• The loose-leaf collections IFA Manual "Safety and health at the workplace" (IFA-Handbuch Sicherheit und Gesundheitsschutz am Arbeitsplatz) and IFA Folder "Measurement of hazardous substances" (IFA-Arbeitsmappe Messung von Gefahrstoffen) and the corresponding internet sites (in German)
• Reports
• Information sheets "Focus on IFA's work"
• Annual reports of IFA
• Brochures and leaflets
• Publication database
• IFA's online presence

The section "Scientific Media" in the Interdisciplinary Services department is responsible for information management at IFA.
